Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof work with the best textile manufacturers in the world to bring extraordinary materials to Munich: artfully embroidered sequins from St. Gallen, shimmering jacquards from Como, innovative high-tech fabrics from Japan. Each fabric tells its own story - of tradition, craftsmanship and modern luxury. 

The journey of each design begins in the Munich studio in Obersendling. Here, in the creative heart of Talbot Runhof, silhouettes are created that flow, drapes that flatter the figure and cuts that promise perfection. Each design is first draped on the mannequin, refined step by step and perfected in fittings - until shape and material form a harmonious whole.

design with passion 

An electrical engineer from Nashville and a business economist from Wiesbaden - not a classic fashion story, but that's exactly what makes Talbot Runhof special. When Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof met by chance in a Munich club in the 1990s, a career in the fashion world was a long way off. Johnny, fresh from Washington, where he programmed anti-submarine systems at the Pentagon, had just started a job as a computer scientist at Radio Free Europe in Munich. Adrian, who had grown up in a fashion company, worked in sales - but creativity captivated them both. Adrian planned his first collection, Johnny designed secretly on the side - until they joined forces and presented their designs at a trade fair in Paris. 

The success was immediate, the start of a shared journey. From a small store near Maximilianstrasse - then still under the name “All About Eve” - to international catwalks and the red carpets of the world: their creations were quickly well received. A dress that was photographed many times at the Bambi marked the first big PR moment. This was soon followed by the first runway show in Munich, then Paris, where Talbot Runhof became an integral part of Fashion Week.
