Quiet Luxury

Quiet luxury is the focus of the new Pre-Fall 2024 collection from Johnny Talbot and AdrianRunhof. These styles are as opulent, sophisticated and elegant as ever.

This collection is quietly glamorous, understated and yet – as usual – makes a bold and fashionable statement, with a penchant for flowing fabrics, ultra-light satins, tulle and voile. Materials with a matte sheen replace loud metallic glitter, which is only used discreetly and with restraint, making it all the richer.

Modern tweed looks add a touch of Parisian elegance by day but come in bright colors for a fresh twist. They are combined with elegant, dark denim and styles made of lightweight, flowing wool in deep bottle green, which are particularly effective in a work setting. They can also be interpreted in a sportier way for everyday wear. Pants in a casual cut are complemented by perfectly sculpted blazers for everyday working life. Beautiful floral prints in muted and fall colors are combined with more formal-looking styles to give them a softer, feminine twist.

Cocktail styles in black tweed and embroidered with floral sequin patterns offer the perfect transition into evening. Ideal for wowing the art critics at your next private viewing, or the cultured audience at the theater or a concert.

The trend of celebrating events in style also continues into the evening, however. The classic cocktail dress often makes way for floor-length evening gowns and jumpsuits.

This season, the focus is shifting even more towards elaborate draping. Dresses made of seemingly weightless jacquards or taffeta appear to be modeled directly onto the body. Bow details and other design elements seem to evolve out of the upper sections. A particular highlight is our modern midi dress with a sheer tulle insert that makes it appear almost like a bustier dress and which wows with its modern take on Fifties glamor.

In addition, subtle boho chic paints a picture of effortless femininity. Lingerie looks are joined by flowing satin gowns with subtle, seductive details. On occasions, a plunging back creates a breathtaking look, other times the neckline is accentuated, without revealing too much skin, however.

Lace complements these flowing, rich glossy fabrics as a beautiful counterpart and looks even more luxurious in this exciting combination, without being too overpowering. Sometimes the delicate floral lace is only accentuated on the bustier, other times the entire upper section is modeled out of it.

Crystal ribbon also appears time and time again as a connecting element in this evening range, adding a subtle, glamorous touch. It replaces straps as a glittery highlight but is also used intentionally as a design element and laced at the neckline or placed in front of a cut-out as a highlight.

Materials with an elegant matte sheen are also new this season. Silky organza chiffon and a new satin complete the wide range of Talbot Runhof classics and give draped designs a fresh, youthful look. A further highlight are the flowing styles made of organza seersucker with an asymmetric hem. They boast a feminine width and make any occasion all the more exciting.

The color palette ranges from blush, scarlet red and fuchsia to royal and midnight blue and shimmering black.
