In 2020 the brand Talbot Runhof was celebrating its 20th anniversary. Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof have fulfilled their hearts’ desire for the anniversary of their brand: a Talbot Runhof Perfume Collection
The new Talbot Runhof Perfume Collection consists of six spectacular fragrances. The designers worked with the best in the industry. The perfumers Sylvie Fischer and Jérôme di Marino from the international fragrance house Takasago were responsible for the composition of the scents. Lutz Hermann designed the flacon and created the packaging design, whilst the exclusive perfume manufacturer 3senses was responsible for production and marketing.
Designer fashion by Talbot Runhof stands for the wonderful, lovely moments in life, for glamorous events and the grand entrance. The luxurious fabrics are the center of attention of each design by Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof. Sometimes they are draped in a sophisticated way, and sometimes they are staged quite clearly. Thus, the development of the signature fragrance line was inspired by the designers’ favorite materials - purple, of course, the brand’s signature color:
purple cotton, purple leather, purple sequins, purple tweed, purple velvet, purple satin - six very different fragrances which all capture the character of the respective material in a olfactory way, as a matter of course, always with the highest quality standards.
Unique, elegant and with surprising details, just like Talbot Runhof fashion. In line with the brand’s philosophy «it’s all about knowing where to stop» the scents are inspired by this playful contradictory balance between graceful resistance and modern extravagance.
Purple Cotton [ˈpɜrp(ə)l ˈkɑtn̩]
The familiar feeling of waking up enfolded in freshly-ironed, clean, crisp poplin sheets; sitting in the garden sipping a frothy cappuccino surrounded by the verdant fragrance of foliage and flowers; a stroll through the city, the sun shining on your face and a delicate breeze running fingers through your hair; sophisticated and carefree, sharp edges and clear shapes; warm base notes of musk and cedar wood with the freshness of white flowers, lily of the valley, jasmine and magnolias.
The Look: sizzling cotton seersucker as a lightweight halter dress; modern midi length; wide-cut; a touch of drama in an opulent bow detail.
Purple Leather [ˈpɜrp(ə)l ˈleðə(r)]
The moment when you sense your inner rock star awakening; that feeling of standing center stage, the heat of the spotlights blazing on your skin, basking in wave after wave of thunderous applause; frolicking, unabashed on the fringe; quite sexy, a little impetuous, and always cool; a symphony of olfactory dissonance: oriental, fruity, floral; a warm spice base with a hint of orange blossoms, cherry and heliotrope.
The Look: rocking leather, interpreted in a very feminine way; a modern a-line silhouette which causes a stir with cool shoulder cut-outs and lively design.
Purple Sequins [ˈpɜrp(ə)l ˈsiːkwənz]
When you’re hitting the hottest clubs with your crew; dancing the night away in your high heels, scintillating like a celestial orb; scanning the room, accepting a frosty cocktail sent by a secret admirer; completely oblivious to time as dawn begins to break; sexy and self-confident, woody and spicy; a chance meeting of amber and myrrh accompanied by sweet notes of vanilla and spicy pepper.
The Look: uncomplicated glamour; loosely fitted; a dress with short length and fluttering flounces which invite you to the dance floor; sequins sparkle on a floral background.
Purple Tweed [ˈpɜrp(ə)l ˈtwiːd]
Like a stroll, hand in hand, through strange, unchartered streets; losing yourself in the moment among myriad impressions; flirtatious and coquettish as you sip a chilled glass of chardonnay at a sidewalk café; the confidence you feel when you know you’re wearing the perfect look for the perfect moment; polished and refined; a leathery base, woven together with heart notes of iris, rose and violet with a touch of peach.

Purple Velvet [ˈpɜrp(ə)l ˈvɛlvət]

when you’re enthroned in front of the mirror dressed in your favorite evening gown, applying the finishing touches to your already perfect hair and makeup; the anticipation of what will certainly be a most memorable evening; you raise a glass of champagne, make a toast and savor the moment; shimmering, sultry and classic; delicate scents that elegantly envelope the body; woody and fruity; seductive praline meets amber, jasmine and violet leaf.
The look: flowing crêpe satin as a sophisticated off-the-shoulder robe; elegantly draped and caressing the figure; a refined shimmer with a dramatic twist.
The design of the packaging reminds of a book which tells the story of each fragrance line. The scent descriptions can be found on the inside, when it is opened. Embedded in a text that makes you dive into the world of perfume. The bottle itself, elongated, clear in shape and nobly reduced, perfectly reflects the brand’s core and philosophy. The abstract yarn roll as a closure and the simple button on the top of the cap are a quote of Talbot Runhof’s craftsmanship.
