With this new capsule collection, Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof celebrate artisan fashion with a versatile line featuring two very special and exclusive fabrics – sophisticated tweed meets cool denim linen. 

These two fabrics are juxtaposed in an exciting blend of traditional and modern, of classic elegance and sporty nonchalance, uniting to create something completely new. 

One of the focal points of this collection is the exclusive tweed made in the traditional Linton weaving mill. Based near the Scottish border, this company has been producing exceptional fabrics for the most famous designer brands in the world for over one hundred years. From Coco Chanel to Christian Dior, the world’s greatest designers have been inspired by the outstanding artistry and expertise found here. At Linton, classic tweed is constantly being reinterpreted in new and contemporary ways. Linton also uses less traditional fibers in weaves, such as cotton ribbon, to create wonderfully light and summery textiles. 

Their tweed features in our collection of styles, offering a compelling combination of nobility and fashionable sophistication. A knee-length, loose-fitting coat is among the designs, as is the intricately constructed day dress with a sweeping flounce. And how could we forget the classic tweed skirt suit, now reimagined with a fashion-forward twist.

In our capsule collection, this ensemble is contrasted with trend-setting denim linen, thus fusing the characteristics of the two eponymous fabrics, pairing the confident look of denim with the summery ease and lightness of crisp linen. The fabric is woven exclusively for Talbot Runhof at the famous Marini weaving mill in Italy. The result is the culmination of incredible competence in development and production. The linen retains all of its benefits but does not wrinkle as much, giving our designers even more creative freedom. From laid-back, cool jumpsuits to wide, flowing skirts, and sophisticated wrap tops, denim styles can be reinvented in this fabric with feminine flair and consummate ease.
